The World War II-era 20 millimeter Oerlikon cannon used by Thunderbolt (Clint Eastwood) and his gang could possibly be used as a (rather small-caliber) "anti-tank gun" as stated in the film, but was usually mounted on Naval patrol boats and ships as an anti-aircraft weapon. I really like this movie, and I believe Thunderbolt and Lightfoot are one of the better movies with Clint Eastwood, and he really make a great pair with Jeff Bridges. The location where Thunderbolt and Lightfoot is filmed are wonderful, the casting is perfect, good plot, great theme song in the beginning and at the end of the film, add this together and you have a really good movie! This movie is a must for those who loves the movies from the seventees! I gave this movie 9 stars out of 10
